A car next to us got stuck in the mud on the pitch and needed people to push it off onto the road and made a big mess. I was later accused of making the mess as we were camped next to the muddy mess. No effort was made to see who actually did it.

I have been camping for 7 years and have never had any problems before. We camp as a family with a young child and not a group loud party people. We often make friends with the owners and return. This is the only campsite I have visited where I left in haste due to small pitches overcrowding, mud and the rude owners and their ‘RULES AND REGULATIONS’.

It was nice to see that the site was patrolled politely and professionally to remind you and other people to respect the 10pm noise curfew. ( It's easy to forget the time on holiday)

We stayed at mill park last april for the week in the glamping pod that went way to fast. The only bad thing about mill park was the 6 hour drive home. We will see you in spring and hopefully the year after that.

We had paid for electric hook-up before arriving. We should not have to pay a £30.00 deposit for an extension lead because the hook-up was so far away from our pitch due to the mud bath. Our cable is very long so it's up to the campsite to provide a hook-up you are paying for.

We took a trailer tent and found that the pitch was a generous size with enough space to park you car next to it. You may wish to call them when booking with the details of your tent / van as oksome of the pitches have a bit of a rake on them which can be challenging when pitching up.

It's a shame I can't give a higher rating than 5! Mill Park is a great place to stay. The toilets and showers are spotless the Pub on site is welcoming and I particularly enjoyed being able to take a few pints of carry out back to the tent ( to avoid trapped dad syndrome!).

Arrived here with no welcome from the lady in reception only ‘Hi, is that your car outside with a trailer’ That will be £5.00 a night extra! Was then told no footprint ground sheets were allowed. The campsite was an overcrowded mud bath. I was not happy about putting my £1500 Outwell smart air tent straight on mud was told I could go elsewhere if I didn’t like it and I could clean it when leaving as they were worried about damaging the grass! You are running a campsite what do you expect!

Upon leaving was charged £20.00 for the trailer even though we only stayed for 3 nights as we left a night early because we hated this campsite.

Don’t expect to watch TV after 10:pm even if the volume is down very low as you get a rude jobsworth going around the campsite telling you to switch off all TV devices. I turned my laptop volume off and was about to get headphones but rude jobsworth was shouting ‘NO TURN OFF NOW PLEASE OR YOU CAN LEAVE’ like being back at school being a naughty boy!

The weather has been terrible and has effected the state of the pitches. This has been managed well by the staff who are only too happy to help providing advice and wood/ cardboard when required. Despite all the mud the facilities are still fantastically clean which is again a credit to the staff. In similar conditions on a different site we may have decided to go home a lot earlier but as Mill Park is so well managed and maintained we stayed 12 days out of our allotted 14.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Mill Park Ltd. It is a great base to explore North Devon. The staff were helpful and courteous and the site is really well maintained, despite the fact they had had awful weather prior to our stay. The site facilities are clean and well kept. We stayed in the Top Field and the showers weren't the best in the world, but more than adequate and very clean. We enjoyed the onsite bar in the evening which is great for families. We will definitely return.
